Power of Surrender
Power of Surrender
Surrender has played a big role in everybody's life. When we have gone through emotional turmoil and look for help, there are two possibilities- one is, we get help from others and another is, we don't get help as per our expectations. Mostly, it is seen in life that when we need people the most, they are not present for us. Surrender can be a very powerful tool in today's world. We don't get every time to rely on ourselves or might predict the future earlier. Always acting like self-dependent can make us tired and expectations from others can lead to breaking our trust. A person cannot deal alone with day-to-day challenges.
There is a very popular story from 'Mahabharata'. When five Pandavs lost everything in gambling, then Draupadi was dragged by Dushasana forcefully into the entire sabha shamelessly. She asked for help from her five husbands to protect her. She asked help from all gurujans, Bhishm Pitamah, and every elder member of the sabha but nobody came to help her out and remained silent. When Draupadi felt that nobody would come then she asked help to Shri Krishna to protect her dignity. She was in a complete state of surrender and only trusted Shri Hari. Then Shri Krishna protected her dignity in the entire sabha.
She asked later Shri Krishna, that she screamed for help but why he didn't come earlier. Then Shri Krishna replied that she had expectations and hopes of help from her husband, and elders but when nobody came, then she completely relied on Shri Krishna.
This story teaches us that we should completely surrender to Shri Krishna first, instead of 'at last' because only he deserves our complete trust, hope, and everything. The First option should always be God, Shri Krishna then see miracles happen in your life.
Hare Krishna..!!🙏
