Start small

 Start small

We usually set huge targets in our mind related to academics, fitness goals, sleeping schedule, morning rituals to follow, skincare routine, completing a book within a few days, completing assignments in one or two days, and many more. When we see our huge targets then we feel lost and sometimes demotivated. Completing tasks on time is important and prioritizing time is also very much important but putting aside mental peace and stability is quite disappointing. Reaching a destination is important but enjoying the journey plays a crucial role in life. Life is itself a long journey where we have to deal with ups and downs but at the same time, maintaining our morale is most important. Goals should be set in such a way that we can feel happy by accomplishing our small tasks while going toward our long- term goals.

We should always start from small, so that it could be easy for us to maintain our cycle of routine and performing tasks on a regular basis. If you want to read any wisdom book like, Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta. You will feel like it's too huge to read and without pictures, it can be boring to read. Don't target to read 20-25 pages or a chapter, just start reading it by setting a goal of one paragraph a day. There will be some days, where you will not feel like reading it, so just sit in a quiet place and command your mind to read just one line or few lines out of it. Ultimately, you will feel like reading it. One day, you will complete that book without even realizing as a burden on your shoulders. Just start with a small task, don't make huge mountains of tasks in your mind. If you don't like Maths, just solve a few questions on a daily basis, ultimately you will be habituated to solving problems on a regular basis. If you want to wake up early in the mornings then just start your day with your fun activities by not thinking or planning about a whole day on your bed. Just get out of the bed and feel the fresh air.

What you want to do, just start without too much thinking about outcomes such as successes and failures. Beginning your journey is important. After all, life is a whole journey. You cannot change your habits within a day. Keep yourself positive, read and listen to positive stuff. Ultimately, you will be the product of positivity soon.

There is a very popular quote in Hindi- "Manzil mil hi jaayegi bhatakte huye hi sahi, gumrah toh woh hain jo ghar se nikle hi nahin."

So just start...and start small..!!
