Knowledge, wisdom, and its applications

Education always played an important role in everybody's life. But how many graduate and post-graduate students perform well in life and their professional setup? Many do not have any ambitions in their professional lives and there is nothing bad with it. People do jobs to feed their families. But when it comes to life, then many of us feel some void and lack of purpose in life. Even sometimes we can't recognize what's the missing part of life. People live monotonous lives and repetitively perform daily tasks.

So many people have all the physical things, that other people desire to have, but still, they fail to direct their life in the right direction. When life's problems hit us then we realize that nothing related to coping with situations they learned in their school and college life. Students receive degrees from their institutions and live their lives by doing jobs in corporations and other sectors. All in our student life, we gain information, not knowledge. Students lack practical skills and are unaware of the facts on how to apply the knowledge in the practical world. Students just study to pass the exams and that's how they spend their student life, without seriously seeing them as learners. In their student life, 'learning and application' are missing and both are important to lead a life as a student. Somehow, they get jobs then they fail to handle real-world problems and office politics. When they realize that they are not performing well enough in their workplaces and the jobs do not satisfy them then they cannot switch jobs because what they want, they are not qualified enough to get better opportunities in life. A few years later, they realized that they were performing well in workplaces but did not handle their relationships well with their families. Their kids want their time, and they keep on prioritizing their office work to get promotions, incentives, and respect in the workplace. A few years later, they realized that their jobs were not good enough but cannot leave because there is a family to feed. 

People kept on going through a vicious cycle of life. Sometimes failed to get into good, attractive, and lucrative packages, if somehow got, then they fail in parenting. Our whole life demands us to always be a learner. Gaining wisdom from scriptures like 'Bhagwad Geeta' always helps in life, it teaches you to lead a life with the guidance of Krishna. Life always demands our new version but are we ready to say yes to Krishna and hold his hand? There is a popular saying that "if the student is ready then the teacher appears". Life can never be easy, you have to accept that it is difficult. The moment you realize that life is difficult, then you are ready for the challenges and become a learner then from that moment, life becomes easy for you. 

Always be ready to learn from the scriptures, from people around you, from teachers or professors. It will always help you. The moment you read the holy book 'Shrimad Bhagwad Gita', Krishna puts you into the 'ranbhoomi' of life and then you will start to recognize the things. In Geeta, Shri Krishna teaches Arjuna lessons in the middle of the people where war is about to begin. Then, Arjuna learned the lessons and won the war. Similarly, do not just collect the information, and put yourself in the war, you will immediately learn your concepts from the textbook. Just by reading, you cannot learn and apply, you have to put yourself into situations where concepts can be used and then you will learn.

Be the Arjuna who accepts Krishna as a mentor and sees the miracles in life. Arjuna left everything for Krishna and chose Krishna to be on his side.
