World is illusion

World is illusion We see this world from our own perspectives. People live with their truths or own philosophies about the world. In Hindi, there is a term used called 'khandit satya' which indicates the fact that individuals only know the incomplete truth. What the world looks like to us is not the reality, it is our illusion. In Jainism, there is a very beautiful philosophy that is, 'Anekantvad' means that people can hold different, even seemingly contradictory views and both still be right in their own frame of reference. There is a very popular example, where 6 blind people, all interact with different parts of an elephant. Not knowing what it is, they might all guess that they are touching various organs depending on what part of the elephant they sense. None of them are wrong as per what they sense, but are only in a position to view a partial truth.  Adi Shankaracharya always said this-"Jagat mithya". This phrase is usually used to incorporate humblen...

Dialogue or Controversy

Dialogue or Controversy Life has a bigger purpose to fulfill. We cannot waste our time and energy on irrelevant topics and discussions. When you go for scriptures to find your answers then you will find a lot of things about being calm, silent, and many more. Prince Rama always be depicted as a character who follows his dharma and an ideal human with imperfections by Valmiki. He is seen as an idol of calmness. Life is all about delivering by constant remembrance of your higher purpose or calling.  We all have to face certain situations in life where people forget about their main area of focus and indulge themselves in controversies. If you have a problem then do 'samvaad' (dialogue) instead of creating 'vivaad' (controversy). Sometimes, we see television debates where people are fighting with each other just in an urge to prove their points. Every intelligent human being stayed away themselves from 'vivaad' and tried to do more and more 'samvaad' to und...

Power of Surrender

Power of Surrender Surrender has played a big role in everybody's life. When we have gone through emotional turmoil and look for help, there are two possibilities- one is, we get help from others and another is, we don't get help as per our expectations. Mostly, it is seen in life that when we need people the most, they are not present for us. Surrender can be a very powerful tool in today's world. We don't get every time to rely on ourselves or might predict the future earlier. Always acting like self-dependent can make us tired and expectations from others can lead to breaking our trust. A person cannot deal alone with day-to-day challenges.  There is a very popular story from 'Mahabharata'. When five Pandavs lost everything in gambling, then Draupadi was dragged by Dushasana forcefully into the entire sabha shamelessly. She asked for help from her five husbands to protect her. She asked help from all gurujans, Bhishm Pitamah, and every elder member of the sab...

Start small

Start small We usually set huge targets in our mind related to academics, fitness goals, sleeping schedule, morning rituals to follow, skincare routine, completing a book within a few days, completing assignments in one or two days, and many more. When we see our huge targets then we feel lost and sometimes demotivated. Completing tasks on time is important and prioritizing time is also very much important but putting aside mental peace and stability is quite disappointing. Reaching a destination is important but enjoying the journey plays a crucial role in life. Life is itself a long journey where we have to deal with ups and downs but at the same time, maintaining our morale is most important. Goals should be set in such a way that we can feel happy by accomplishing our small tasks while going toward our long- term goals.  We should always start from small, so that it could be easy for us to maintain our cycle of routine and performing tasks on a regular basis. If you want...

Feelings are the creation

Feelings are the creation Most people give their mantra about success and all. It can be hard work, actions, willpower, environment, the right support system, etc. But these above aspects come later in the scene. First come feelings. Do we strongly believe in the things we are saying and taking action in life? Many can aim to become CA in life but how many of them become. Let's leave the people, where destiny wants something different from them but what about the rest of them who have privileges, the right environment, etc. Many newcomer actors and actresses who have privileged backgrounds don't perform well in their craft because they lack the feeling. They don't understand the depth of the character they gonna be playing and few might succeed in performing their character because sometimes it resonates with their personality trait and in certain scenes, they feel the emotion.  Above are the examples which are just telling that feelings are so important in what we are doin...

Honor your truth

Honor your truth People always use these sentences- "Be nice to everyone", "Niceness is a trait of a good human being", "Be nice to your elders", etc. But always being nice in every situation is a sign of foolishness. Being nice got people used, stressed, and disrespected. Why do you want to be nice to everyone's eyes?  When you ask certain questions and do some self-analysis, you will find that people try to be nice just for their benefit for a short period. Few people do certain things because they have heard somewhere that being nice is a sign of a good person. A wise human is aware of the fact, that if they perform any action, it comes from their self-awareness not just they want to portray some sort of good image to anybody. Most of our lives get better when we realize that you don't have to be nice. There is a huge difference between being nice and being a good person. If you are really a good person, you don't have to show it or portray ...

Aspire to see beauty

Aspire to see beauty The world is full of ups and downs, stability and chaos, war and peace. We all want peace and harmony in our lives. But when somebody goes towards these things to achieve in their own way, people around them feel a bit of discomfort. Societal conditions and norms make people think in a certain way. While others grow around them, they start feeling insecure and questioning their own capability to achieve things. When we disconnect from ourselves then we encounter the thoughts of negativity and focus on comparison. Why it always need to compare ourselves to others' successes and achievements? Firstly, don't be the person who always compares and is insecure. Be comfortable around the people who are better than you. Be the person to hold the hands of people in need and encourage them to become better human beings and the best version of them. See beauty in everything. When you are a good person and very secure of who you are, you attract good and better peopl...

Shift your mindset

Shift your mindset Our elders always advise us to think positively. People at the seniority level focus on hope and optimism about the future. All the 'avatars' in Hinduism are the symbol of positivity. All the great legends in any field have a positive attitude towards life. All these examples indicate a similar pattern of positivity and hope. But why is it always advised to be like this?  We all have desires and dreams to fulfill in life. The Universe does not respond to what you want, it responds to the frequency you are on. If you are vibrating with fear, guilt, or shame then, you will attract more of the same. But if you are tuned into love, joy, and abundance, you will pull in those same vibes. That's why all successful people focus on winning, then they will start vibrating with positivity and enthusiasm, and they will attract more opportunities in life. Those who focus on failures, start vibrating at negativity and attract more negative events in life. When you thin...

Choosing midway

Choosing midway Nowadays, people are much more inclined towards Spirituality and Hinduism. Being spiritual become a trend and visiting temples become new GenZ's way of life. These are the good signs that we start searching for more meaningful things in life. Many youngsters are attracted to the life of monks and want to adapt new lifestyle. Youngsters believe nowadays that becoming a monk is a better option than leading a worldly life. But is it necessary that if you want to become spiritual in life then this is the best way to live. Becoming 'Sadhu' and leaving this worldly life is a rarity. It's an inner calling when every worldly desires or things fade away. Seeing somebody as 'Sanyasi' would be attention grasping and imagining yourself about thinking that leave everything and this life is the perfect way of life. No tension, no stress, no worldly duties to play, just peacefully live this life. Sometimes, youngsters forget that such kind of life demands more ...

Fill the inner void

Fill the inner void We all want something in our lives that gives us fulfillment. We want to rely on something that provides us security and peace. We all are constantly in search, which can fill our inner void. Then, we start chasing things that can fill the vacancy of our minds. Sometimes people want to go far away from this inner void and distract themselves by scrolling shorts or reels, visiting malls and marketplaces, hanging out with peers, or friends, consuming drugs, alcohol, or addictive stuff, and sometimes indulging in search of a mate or prefer to spend time with the opposite gender or might find them in day-dreaming, or stuck them in imaginary thoughts. Few of them find themselves stuck in the past or sometimes fear about future. In recent few years, there has been this trend to get into multiple relationships with the opposite gender, and after a few months, the spark fades away and again they want to explore something new. There is nothing wrong with getting into relatio...

Never Admire Quietly

Never Admire Quietly There are many we like or admire but we don't tell them, we just do things quietly. Many people don't know how much people like them, they fight their battles quietly and engage themselves in doing good deeds. There have been millionaires and billionaires who served society as well but there have been boys/girls following them from remote villages, towns, or cities. We cannot meet people at that high level but we can express our gratitude for how much they have impacted our life. One huge example is Sir 'Ratan Tata', we can express our thanks to God for such a kind soul. Another can be the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, when students meet him, they express their emotions to them. Many people write letters to him and thank them for the changes he brings. There can be any person, it can be your teacher, friends, mother, father, siblings, etc. When we lose such gems in our life then some people feel regret by not telling their feelings to them. You don...

Power of Gratitude

Power of Gratitude Gratitude means the power of a feeling of 'thankfulness'. Being thankful calms your mind and brings you the feeling of joy, peace and love for things around you. Gratitude signifies the word 'Shukrana'. In Gurudwaras, people touch the prasad by their forehead reflecting how thankful they are for the 'Roti' filled with god's power and blessings. This is the culture of Sikhs. In Hindus, we bow our heads in front of God while offering our prayers and being thankful for what he has given to us more than our capability. We perform 'Thank you' to Sun while starting our day by offering him water (jal).  We 'thank god' for a new start to the day. In Hindu culture, gratitude has always been there and it's been our lifestyle. We start our day, by touching the floor to thank 'Bhumi' for being wake up alive and healthy. We recite prayers to God to thank him for all the material things we have and for the spiritual wisdom ...

Small things matter

Small things matter There are tons of books written on how to take small steps or how small steps create miracles in one's life. There is a book named 'Atomic Habits', all these words have been used like tiny, small, atomic dozens of times to highlight the importance of those unseen thousands of small steps that build an empire of a person's character and way of life. Nobody suggests taking huge mountain-like actions but entirely emphasizes daily routine, diet, exercise, and studying biographies of other successful people, they might be saints like Guru Nanak, Gautam Buddha, Prime Minister, APJ Abdul Kalam, Artists, Scientists, and many more. You might not become legendary or great like them but their thought process might serve you in life. 25 minutes of exercise might not bring you muscles but can serve you in the long run. A daily routine might be boring but it can add discipline to your life. 4 or 5 am makes you feel a little agitated but can bring peace and inner s...

Goodness is a choice

Goodness is a choice In this entire world, there are lots of good and happy people. Kind souls are not always happy but make other people happy too. They bring happiness to others and compassion towards animals, birds, and other creatures. They find their inner peace very close to themselves around nature. But are they always being kind and happy? Didn't they get hurt by others? Yes, definitely. There are multiple events in their life when they find themselves lonely. Kindness is always a choice for them irrespective of outer circumstances. The kindest people are not born that way, they are made. They make themselves very strong with every passing period in their life. They have experienced a handful of different bitter experiences, but at the same time, they are the ones who have dug themselves out of the dark and have fought to turn every loss into a lesson. The kindest people do not just exist- they choose to soften where circumstances have tried to harden them. They believe in ...

Graph of different times

Graph of different times It is not necessary in life that you always win, sometimes you learn and other times you plant seeds to blossom into a big tree. Life has its own twists and turns but one thing is for sure, we are all in the process of continuous growth. None of us has a manual that we read before performing any action. We learn within the process. Few scholars understand their purpose through scriptures and holy books and many gain life's wisdom through other's experiences. Tough times build character and good times build confidence. In the Indian context, character has greater importance than being successful. A person can only handle success if he has a strong character to maintain himself in the long run. There is a popular saying "If wealth is lost nothing is lost, if health is lost something is lost, but if the character is lost then everything is lost." We all have tough phases in life. During our struggling period, we might think that this could happ...

Be the calm in the chaos

Be the calm in  the chaos The world is full of uncertainties and unknown future events. Today, there are events occurring related to wars across the globe. In a world full of noise, be the calm. Give light to other individuals. We all are different. We need different things, and we prioritise different things. People are fighting and dealing with their inner conflicts. In that scenario, give them calmness with your own stability of mind. When you are in peace, other people get positivity out of you. They can feel your energy. Your presence makes a difference in somebody's life, sometimes directly or indirectly. In times of doubt, be the hope. In times of cruelty, be the kindness provider. Sometimes, your act of niceness can become somebody's strength to fight with evil energies in this world. No matter how small your act, it holds the power to move huge mountains. When situation is out of control and everybody getting mad regarding the situation, be the idol of calmness like de...

Interests are the keys to purpose

Interests are the keys to purpose Sometimes we feel a natural inclination towards certain things automatically. We feel a sense of comfort by opting for particular tasks and enjoy them too. Getting tasks done is one thing but enjoying them is another. There are some artists, when they do their work, they get into different zones and enter into completely different worlds. The people who produce a great piece of work that comes out of their flow state and timeless joy. Interests make a different person by pursuing them. Flow state and the comfort of enjoying work come from pursuing interests. Cristiano Ronaldo, a great footballer has an interest in playing football. Virat Kohli, a legend in his field pursued their interest in sports. These people make their whole lives around their interests and dedicate everything to them. Flowing in the direction of interests and natural inclinations can make your life bliss. Living every moment of life by doing what you like.  Making your ...

Love is the only qualification

Love Is The Only Qualification When you do something, you sometimes fear to face the difficulties in the process. Sometimes you find yourself attached to the outcomes which causes anxiety of losing and leads to negative thoughts. When we love what we do, it gives us a sense of peace inside. You don't need to question your capability of solving things. You should trust yourself and trust the God within you. Trust the entire process and don't put certain restrictions on you that you can only do this or that. You have unlimited potential and infinite strength and courage. Many leaders in this entire world claim that they do what they love or sometimes they starting love what work assigned to them. Why loving is so much important?  Because it gives you liberty and you start feeling the process. You don't need to look for an outcome because there is no guarantee of winning or if you succeed, is it a compulsion that in the end after sacrificing everything, you will enjoy the en...

Liking yourself is the Asset

Liking yourself is the Asset In this physical world, we are the only ones who can trust ourselves by keeping our heads high and having straight shoulders that can standstill in any scenario. We are the children of God who always wanted us to be brave and confident enough during our tests by the almighty. Standing in front of the mirror and saying "I can do it", is a sign that we trust the process and reflects our inner quality of being courageous. There might be times when you don't find yourself fitting in but it shows that God has already reserved some places for you where you deserve to be part of it or even you can lead too. When you leave old places, you find new places and gain some new insights. Being insightful is important in life. Hold your own hand and tell a new story about yourself. Just be quiet during inner conflicts and old patterns of thoughts. Let them pass away, take a deep breath, and say to yourself, "Hey! new you, I like you, I love you and I...

Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment Women Empowerment is not only about providing the equal opportunities. Empowerment is all about strength. Strength must be your asset. Exposure must be your asset. Money must be your asset. Truth must be your asset..!! Not your beauty, physical appearance... Spend time enriching yourself, spend time in gaining knowledge, spend time in skilling yourself. If we actually growing as a nation or in overall worldwide then why we find so few women in science and technology, very few in science laboratories and in STEM background (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), very few in sports, politics, and literature. Women is also a human being who has the huge potential in developing her self in all areas of life. Her destiny is not only limited to household chores and gossiping about others. She can be a leader and a mother or wife at the same time. She can be a CEO of a company and perform other roles too.  Strength lies in breaking the limiting beliefs about her...

Complaining Is Madness

Complaining Is Madness In real life, we encounter with so many problems. It can be related to career, health, personal life, societal issues, and many more. When you catch yourself complaining in either speech or thought, about a situation you find yourself in, what other people do or say, your surroundings, your life situation, even the weather. Complaining should be unacceptable. When you continuously complain about anything, then your mind shifts towards negativity and you ignore the brighter side of life. The complaining invariably carries an unconscious negative charge. When you complain, you make yourself a victim. Leave the situation or accept it. Anything else is madness. Taking charge of a situation makes you a stronger version of yourself and shifts your complaining mode into a solution-oriented mindset. And if you cannot do anything about the situation then leave it and move on. Accept future challenges with a positive mindset because only positivity can bring you closer to ...
